Reviews

AudioFile Magazine...
Joan Borysenko, Ph.D., co-founder and former director of the Mind/Body Clinic at Boston's Deaconess Hospital, is an innovator of psychoneuro-immunology. It draws upon the mind's ability to use deep relaxation to promote physical healing, eliminate stress or stress-related illnesses, and surmount pain. Her narration represents sincere and heartfelt experiences passed on in a genuine manner. The listener is so captured by her openness and insightfulness that it's easy to forget about her impressive credentials and think of her as a spiritual counselor. She doesn't preach but gently guides us through the typical pitfalls of life to allow us to become more fulfilled and content. B.J.P. (c)AudioFile, Portland, Maine
